This corporate identity refresh for Anton Böhmer included an updated logo direction, a custom icon, and stationery design. G2 is a Stellenbosch design and digital agency specialising in corporate identity and brand systems.
Client Brief
G2 was approached by Anton Böhmer to refresh his corporate identity. The recommendation was to update the existing logo rather than create a completely new concept.
The intention was to retain familiarity while bringing the identity into a more contemporary visual space.
Our Solution
Based on Telesphorus from Greek mythology, the new icon relies on symbolism associated with the legend. The depiction draws from a stone statue reference and is extended with acorns and oak leaves to strengthen the Stellenbosch connection.
G2 also designed supporting stationery including business cards, letterheads and email signatures.
